Dr Edward Korotkov

Dr Edward Korotkov is currently a professor and a Head of Management Chair of State University of Management (Moscow). For over forty years Dr. Korotkov has been working in higher education of the Soviet Union and later Russia. For twenty years he was a Deputy Rector of State University of Management, Vice-Chairman of Academic and Methodological Association of Russian Universities in management. Dr. Korotkov was one of the developers of first and second generation of State Educational Standard for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in Management. He participated in internships and conferences in the USA, UK, France on management related topics; published a series of course books in Management, including “The Concept of Management”, “The Concept of Russian management”, “Management”, “Principles of Management (Management of the civilized business)”, “Management Systems Research” etc. Dr. Korotkov has many publications on education related topics, i.e. the course book “Management of Quality in Education”, and articles in specialized journals.
